The Academy of Medical Sciences commissioned me for this project in 2017. It continues to take me to all manner of locations around the country – labs, hospitals, universities, workshops, ballet studios, bridge’s, boats and allotments. It has been fascinating to meet and learn about those whom have taken part.

#MedSciLife looks into the work/life balance of those in the medical field. My role is to capture each participant within both their work and life environments.

The Academy has a website dedicated to this project where my images sit alongside their story- medscilife.org. Each story has been a fantastic & insightful read, often making me reflect on my own work/life balance..

Some images from the shoots in 2017 don the Academy walls. These have temporarily replaced the exceptional paintings of past Presidents of the Academy so I feel very humbled to see my work displayed here. Click on this link to see my images on display: MedSciLife exhibit.

Below are some of my favourite shots from some of the shoots so far with a brief description of each participant.
